TRANSVIOLET BLOODSTREAM

New Los Angeles four piece Transviolet motored away with their debut track, 'Girls Your Age', last month, and they aren't about to take their foot off the gas now. Their (always tricky) second single 'Bloodstream' sees them joining XYLO, MUNA, and to some extent Haim, in making accessible pop which teeters on the very precipice of darkness. It perfectly captures the mood of being in love with someone or something who "could completely destroy you," the band's words, not ours, with stormy beats, swelling synth tones and pooling vocals converging in stunning fashion. A tour with Mikky Ekko, and probably world domination, beckons. - DC
